Drift 4 Cash 2011: Pre Event to the DMCC Season

It was a drift event of unusual circumstance 鈥 pro and pro-am drivers mixed together. After qualification it was time for what everyone had shown up for:  the top 8 battles. This event was dramatically different; each tandem battle winner would receive cash-in-hand, right on the track 鈥 this isn鈥檛 the world of giant checks and credit. These are cold-hard, mint oriented Canadian dollars. Rookie professional, Jeff Laflamme, in his V8, S13, qualified at the top of the heap and snagged the most of the loot. Second place went to Francis Tasse in his V8, super charged S14, despite putting his car into the wall during practice. Rounding out the top three was DMCC professional, Dominic Desrosier, who was piloting a new Soarer in its first event of the season.
